The Institute for Free Enterprise (Institut für unternehmerische Freiheit), Germany's free market think tank, is seeking interns to help us spread the message of economic liberty and political freedom in Germany and throughout Europe. Working with a small organization, you will have the opportunity to take part in projects and events, as well as have an active role in the daily operations of the Institute in a capacity unavailable at much larger organizations. You will be allowed a large amount of freedom to explore economic and political issues and interests relating to Germany and Europe.
In addition to your time at the Institute, the city of Berlin offers a breathtaking array of cultural and educational resources and attractions, as well as a thriving night-life almost unparalleled in all of Europe. The Institute is located in the heart of Berlin, in the beautiful and recently restored Hackesche Höfe, with direct access to public transporation, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants.
German language skills are encouraged, but not required. Undergraduate or graduate students are preferred. Both full and part-time internships can be arranged and we accept letters of interest on a rolling basis.
